Virginia "Ginger" Motley

Virginia Ann Motley "Ginger", 67, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Accordius Health of Concord Nursing Home.

Ginger was born May 8, 1954 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to the late Wilburn Franklin Cook and the late Foy Elizabeth Cook.

She was also preceded in death by brother, Harold Cook; sister, Blenda Griffin; nephew's, Larry Wayne Griffin and Jamie Griffin.

Ginger was a selfless woman. She was known for putting others first before herself, including her animals.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:45 pm, Monday, January 3, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm at Carolina Memorial Park-Kannapolis, officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson.

Survivors include nephew's, Lee Cook, Kevin (Kristina) Cook, Billy (Terri) Griffin; niece, Candy Griffin. Ginger is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
