Vivian Shrader

Vivian Kay Shrader, 56, of Locust, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2019 at Levine Dickson Hospice House at Aldersgate in Charlotte after a long battle with ovarian cancer.

Mrs. Shrader was born July 1, 1963 in Pennsylvania to the late Fred Joseph Shrader and the late Ethel Martin Mealer. Vivian enjoyed volunteering in her community and spending time with her friends and family. She always put her family first and will be remembered as a loving sister, mother and grandmother. Vivian has now graduated to her heavenly home and while she is gone from us, she will not be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at 12:00 pm, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland, officiated by Rev. Robert Britt and Pastor Mikey Laws.

Vivian is survived by, daughters, Rachel (Tim Bessone) Bowling and April (Brad Knight) Bowling; grandchildren, Abbey Thomas, Renee Knight, Miracle Knight; brothers, John (Brenda) Shrader, Fred Shrader, Larry Shrader; step-brother, Greg Merritt; step-sisters, Daniese (Rick) Ingram, Felicia Merritt; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
