Wade Johnson, Jr

Mr. Wade Clinton "Buddy" Johnson, Jr. of Concord, passed away on December 12, 2010 at his home. Buddy was born on February 6, 1940 in Cabarrus County to the late Wade Clinton Johnson, Sr. and the late Patsy Eleanor Bunn Johnson. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Gilwood Presbyterian Church from 12:00 until 1:30 pm. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Alan Buckner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Janice Marie Johnson, of Concord; daughter, Neila J. Kepley, of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Johnny Johnson, of Concord; and granddaughter, Hannah Marie Kepley, of Mt. Pleasant. Buddy was a member of Gilwood Presbyterian Church and a graduate of W.R. Odell High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. Buddy was self employed as a collectables show promoter with Carolina Hobby Expo.
