Wade Mangum

Wade LeRoy Mangum, 77, of Albemarle passed away on February 25, 2011 at Stanly Regional medical Center in Albemarle. A service will be held Thursday, February 3 at 7 PM in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service. Rev. Bob Gruver will officiate the services. Mr. Mangum was born in Pageland, SC on June 11, 1933 to the late Burgess and Frances Mangum. He was a member of the Joppa Masonic Lodge in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Mangum is survived by his wife of 56 years, Iris Carol Fisher Mangum; sister, English Mangum Fisher; granddaughters, Jennifer Radford of Badin, Lisa Hunt of Albemarle; grandson Jimmie Cromer of Albemarle; and great-granddaughter, Carlee Grace Hunt. Memorials may be made the Charlotte Fire Department, 8325 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC.
