Walter Kenneth “Kenny” Pepper III, 39, of Stanfield, passed away, Sunday, November 11, 2012 at CMC NorthEast, Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Tony Allen will officiate and the burial will be at Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery, Polkton. Born June 9, 1973 in Mecklenburg County, NC, he was the son of Walter Kenneth Pepper, Jr. of Charlotte and Brenda Evangeline Howard Thompson of Oakboro. He is also survived by his wife of 2 years, Gwendolyn “Gwen” Marie Carter Pepper of the home; and a brother, Rodney Pepper and wife Kristi of Concord; and 2 nephews, Robbie and Ryan.
