Walter Stephen Kimball

Walter Stephen Kimball, 69, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Mr. Kimball was born December 16, 1954 in New Jersey to the late Walter Kimball and the late Phyllis V. Kimball.

He was also preceded in death by step-daughter Stephanie L. Evans.

Walter was a man of many interests early in life and was employed as a mechanic, an EMT and owned & operated a pet store before enjoying a long career with Goodyear

Tires. He was a proud New York Giants fan and University of Tennessee Volunteer football fan and rarely missed watching a game. He was a loving husband to his wife and

loving father to his step-daughters and his genuine nature, kindness and laughter will be missed by friends and family.

No services are planned currently and the family has asked friends and family to send memorial gifts to your favorite charity in honor of Walter's life.

Survivors include wife of 30 years, Rena V. Kimball of Crawford, GA, step-daughter, April E. Evans of Greensboro, GA, niece Ashley R. Whitt of Morristown, TN and friend, David Skolarus of Concord, NC.
