Walter Lawing

Walter Frank Lawing, 75, of Badin, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 peacefully at his home.

Walter was born November 30, 1945 in Georgia to the late Garland Lawing and the late Lucille Hammond Lawing.

Survivors include wife, Hilda Jarrett Lawing of Badin, NC, son, Ralph Andrew Lawing of Badin, NC, sisters, Jane Brotemarkle and Jackie Jenkins and their families, and nephew, Robert Burroughs and his family.

Services for the Lawing family will be announced at a later date.

Walter will be remembered as a wonderful, sweet man, who loved everyone and would literally give anyone the shirt off his back. He loved sports and was an avid golfer, but the most important thing in Walter's life was his love for the Lord and his beloved family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
