Walter Misenheimer

Walter Lamar Misenheimer, 81 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.

Walter was born July 30, 1932 in Stanly County to the late Walter Lee Misenheimer and the late Annie Laurie Williams Misenheimer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Frances Misenheimer.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Scott Orr will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, March 24, 2014 in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Albemarle, NC.

He is survived by sons, Wyatt Misenheimer of Katy, Texas and Warren Misenheimer of Albemarle; daughter, Wanda Gunter and husband, Jimmy of Concord; brothers, Larry, Lynne and Lysle Misenheimer; four grandchildren, Jake, Laurie, Jenna, and Erin; three great-grandchildren Jace, Jessica, and J.W; and special friend, Sara Hinson.
