Walter Pepper

Walter Kenneth Pepper Jr., 68 years of age, of Charlotte, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.
Walter was born December 2, 1947 in Mecklenburg County to the late Walter Kenneth Pepper Sr. and Virginia Pepper Belland. He was also preceded in death by son, Walter Kenneth "Kenny" Pepper, III.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Wednesday, 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Tony Allen . Burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date.
Survivors include his son, Rodney Pepper and wife, Kristi of Concord; two grandsons, Robbie Pepper and Ryan Pepper; three brothers, Ronald Pepper of Charlotte, Dean Pepper of Iron Station, NC and David Doby of Gastonia, NC.
Walter was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He had retired from the Batesville Casket Company as a truck driver.
Memorials may be made to the Sanger Clinic of CHS-NE in Concord.
