Walter Woodle

Walter Lee Woodle, 84 years of age, of Norwood, went Home to see his best friend, Jesus, face to face on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at CMC - NorthEast in Concord. Mr. Woodle was born July 22, 1929 in Union County to the late Will Woodle and the late Grace Woodle. He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Todd McSwain and Rev. Tony Parsons will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 21, 2014 at South Stanly Baptist Church in Norwood. A 30 minute state will be held prior to the service. Burial will follow at Norview Gardens, Norwood, NC. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Margie Coggins Woodle; one daughter, Audrey Mabry of Richfield; son, Albert Woodle and wife, Jill, of Richfield; grandchildren,Jamie (Wendy) Mabry, Nicholas (Michelle) Mabry, Amy Frick; 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; brother, J. W. Woodle, sisters, Emma Jean Foreman, Liz Miller, and Ethel Eury, all of Norwood, and sister, Christine Hatley of Oakboro; and numerous nieces and nephews,.
