Wanda Chilson

Wanda Chilson, 61, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister and friend.

Wanda was born May 4, 1959 in Harrisburg, North Carolina to John Calvin Kee and Shelby Hagler Kee.

Her beloved son, Joshua preceded her in death.

Wanda loved her family very much.  She enjoyed kayaking, boating, the beach, the mountains, reading and writing.  She attended UNC Charlotte.

She is survived by her parents John and Shelby; husband, Donald; daughters, Shannon (Steve) and Rachel (Tom); 4 grandchildren, sister, Pam (Erich); niece, Brianna and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a funeral service at Grace Church on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 2 pm located at 2007 Stallings Rd, Harrisburg, NC 28075 with a committal following in the Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
