Wanda Hilliard

Wanda Lynn Hilliard, 64 passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 with her family by her side.

Wanda was born in Washington, DC to the late George A. and Desdy L. Swanner. She married William Allen Hilliard on July 10, 1989 and he survives.

Also surviving are her three sons, Sgt. Jim Morton (Jessica), Ssgt. Cameron Morton, and Timothy Morton (Kristi); one daughter, Sherri Lynn Hartley; four sisters Annette Cummons, Judy Holt (Billy), Joyce Swanner and Rebecca Gardner; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service officiated by Rev. Adam Hatley will be held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at West Albemarle Baptist Church, 336 Church St., Albemarle, NC 28001. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary one hour prior to the service.
