Wanda Dianne Young Thomas, 65 years of age, of Monroe, formerly of Charlotte, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at home in Monroe.
Dianne was born November 17, 1951 in Stanly County to the late Orville Lee Young and the late Evelyn Junius Hatley Young.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland officiated by Pastor Alice Young.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Rickie Mac Thomas of Monroe, formerly of Charlotte; daughter, Ericka (Lane) Somers of Concord and Lindsay Thomas of Monroe; sister, Sherri (Michael) Ross of Connelly Springs, NC; brother, Richard (Alice) Young of Waldorf, MD and six grandchildren, Olivia, Hayley, Caitlynn, Trey, Evelyn, and Brooklyn.
Dianne was a self employed real estate appraiser.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Thomas family.
