Wanda Vick

Wanda Beautonne (Lowder) Vick, age 66, of Albemarle, N.C., died Thursday, July 30, 2009, at her home. Vick was a medical secretary and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. The family will meet at her home. She was the daughter of the late Penny Brown Lowder and the late Jay Vee Solomon Lowder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hammett Vick in 2004 and sister Sybil Lowder Vick. She is survived by her Daughter-Sandy (Vick) Turner and husband David of Albemarle, N.C. Son-Kelly Vick and wife Beth of Albemarle, N.C. Sister-Pam Martin and husband Tommy of China Grove, N.C. Sister-Vicky Jo Burleson of Albemarle, N.C. Brother-Roger Lowder and wife Ginger of Albemarle, N.C. Grandchildren-Karcin Vick, Suzie Turner, Cameron Vick and Carrie Turner. Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle, P. O. Box 7, Albemarle, N.C., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, July 31, 2009. Funeral service will be at Salem United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2009 , Rev. Mike McClellan Rev. Gerald Davis officiating. Interment will be at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Albemarle, N.C. Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 20987 Hwy 73, Albemarle, NC 28001.
