Warren Burris

Warren Westley Burris, 58, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at Lexington Memorial Hospital. Warren was born November 8, 1955 to the late Aringie "Lee" and Dorothy "Ducky" Newton Burris. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Tim Newton. The burial will be at the Union Cemetery in Concord. He is survived by his son, Jason Westley Burris; and brother, David Lee Burris. Mr. Burris was employed with the Town of Denton Water Plant as a dedicated Class A water treatment professional. He was a wonderful person beloved, son, brother, father, coworker and friend to many. His gracious manner, big heart and gift of laughter made all that were around him smile.
