Warren Jay “Poppy” Yetter, 83, of Harrisburg, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord, NC. A Memorial Service will be held at The LDS Church located at 153 Fording Place Road in Lake Katrine, NY on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 11 am. Mr. Yetter was born on May 4, 1929 in Newton, NJ to the late George and Lulu Treible Yetter. Warren proudly served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Caperton during the Korean War. He worked as a plumber for many years and mentored sons, grandsons, nephews and friends teaching and sharing knowledge of his trade. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, the Atlanta Braves and Jeff Gordon, eating out and eating in, and above all else his family. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Marion Lambert Yetter who he married on May 23, 1959; children, Noelle Yetter, Karl Yetter and wife Clarissa, Jaye Maier and husband John, Kim Kiniry and wife Gina, Rex Kiniry and wife Kathy, Scott Kiniry and wife Tanna.; eight grandchildren, Dustin, Cole and Kala Maier, Kristofer and Jonathan Kiniry, Kory, Cody and Camille Yetter; great-granddaughter, Kennedy Joy Maier; brother, Harold and scores of beloved nephews and nieces.
