Wayne Baxter

Mr. Wayne Ralph Baxter, 84, of 165 Union Street South, Concord, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at CMC NorthEast. He was born on August 30, 1926 in Lincoln County, NC to the late Henry Lee Baxter and the late Florence Wise Summerlin. He was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church in Concord. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Friday, October 29, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Parkwood Baptist Church, 1069 Central Drive NW, on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Michael Waters and Rev. Steve Davis officiating. Wayne is survived by his wife, Arlene McIntyre Baxter, of the home; son, Jerry Baxter, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughters, Sandra Hall, of Valdosta, GA, Vicki Roth, of Concord, and Karen Tuliano, of Port St. Lucie, FL; brothers, Bill Baxter, of Snellville, GA and David Summerlin, of Badin; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
