Wendy Woodell

Wendy Elaine Sikes Woodell, 41, of Midland, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at her home. Ms. Woodell was born September 27, 1970 in Anson County. Survivors include her sons, Jordan David Sikes of Midland and Steven James Woodell; her daughter, Meagan Danielle Rick of Albemarle; her mother, Sybil Ann Porter Austin of New Salem; her father, James David Sikes of Surfside Beach, S.C.; her granddaughters, Cheyanne Drye and Chloe Elaine Bryant; her sister, Becky Austin; her grandmother, Eliza Austin; and a very special friend, Mitchell Lee Lowder of Locust. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at New Life Church in Locust. At other times, the family will be at the home of her mother, Sybil Austin, at 7221 Pleasant Hill Church Road, Marshville, NC 28103.
