Wesley Alexander

Wesley King Alexander, 77 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at his home. Wesley was born July 3, 1936 in Cabarrus County to the late Ralph Alexander and Mary Alexander. He was preceded in death by one brother. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Matthew Carter will be on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at Albemarle Church of Christ, where he was a member. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Faith Drake Alexander; mother, Mary Alexander Watts; daughter, Tammy (Ken) Warren; sisters, Joyce Martin of VA and Carol (Rex) Tucker of Charlotte. Mr. Alexander was a veteran of the US Air Force and was retired from Michelin. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 North First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
