Wesley Dodge

Wesley Curtis Dodge, 65, passed away, Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Atrium Health University in Charlotte.

Wes was born on December 18, 1956, in New York to the late James Wesley and Helen Mallen Dodge. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his cousin, Howard Mallen.

Wesley served in the United States Air Force as Security Police. He assisted with food pantries for the Harrisburg Crisis Assistance Ministries and various churches within the area. Wes was an American Patriot with a deep love for his family. Wesley had an infectious personality and was always cracking jokes, that left a smile on everyone's face. He always said "you'll never meet anyone like me", and he was right!

A memorial service, with Military Honors, will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 2:00 pm, at New Grace Baptist Church, 1160 Warren C. Coleman Blvd, Concord, officiated by Pastor, Allen Montgomery.

Wesley is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Young Dodge, daughters, Monica Duckett; Helena Dodge; Francesca Ryan; son-in-laws, Jody Duckett, Matt Ryan; grandchildren, Justin Duckett, Faith Duckett, Abbey Duckett, Joshua Duckett, Brayden Duckett, Gracelyn "Pearlie" Duckett, Layla Ryan, and grandson Ryan coming soon.
