Willard Morris

Willard Wright Morris, Age 85, of Richfield, NC, passed away September 6, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. He was born August 13, 1924 in Madison County, GA. He was a former member of Navy and a highway inspector for the NC DOT. He is survived by daughter, Denice Morris Morgan ,son, Phillip Keith Morris and wife Dr. Nancy Morris,brother, Sam Morris,grandchildren Steven C. Morgan, Keith Morgan, Rachel E. Morris,Jeffrey Morris, Benjamin Morris. He was preceded in death by his wife, Onnarah (Sue) Furr Morris, father and mother, Samuel Claude Morris and Pearl Verna Thompson Morris, son in law, David C. Morgan,sister, Myrtha Morris, brothers, Ralph Morris and Howard Morris. Funeral service will take place 11 a.m.Wednesday at Richfield Baptist Church, Richfield, NC. Rev. Dale Collingwood,Dr. Nancy Morris will officiate with burial in Richfield Cemetery, Richfield,NC.
