William "Bill" Floyd Misenheimer Jr., 83, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Bill was born December 25, 1941 in North Carolina to the late William Floyd Misenheimer Sr. and the late Rachel Treece Misenheimer.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Brenda Doby, Lib Stewart, and Pat Blackwelder; and brother, Bobby Misenheimer.
Bill was a lifelong member of Paul's Crossing Baptist Church, where he had played for their softball team when he was younger and was a dedicated Deacon. Bill was a hardworking man who worked for Collins & Aikman since 1961. He loved Carolina Basketball and was known for his love of the outdoors, where he gardened, loved woodworking, and barbecuing. Bill loved aiding those in need, as he was a member of what was known as "The Good Ol' Boy's," where he helped cook meals for families. Bill will be remembered for being an amazing Dad, PawPaw, brother, and friend.
His favorite scripture was John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
The memorial service will be held on Thursday, January, 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Paul's Crossing Baptist Church Sanctuary in Richfield officiated by Pastor Marc Sessions.
Survivors include daughter, Crystal Misenheimer; grandchildren, Alexis Teubner, Jeremiah Teubner, Matthew Teubner, and Austin Efird; siblings, Judy, Terry, Gayle, Teddy, Jimmy; and many nieces and nephews.
