William Broadway

William "David" Broadway, 67, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Carolinas HealthCare System University in Charlotte.

Mr. Broadway was born April 23, 1951 in Rowan County to the late Olin Broadway and the lateVirginia Nussman Broadway. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Wayne Broadway and Scott Broadway.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Faith Freewill Baptist Church, 34915 Locust Lane, New London officiated by Rev. Cecil L Tucker. Burial will follow at the Salisbury National Cemetery.

Survivors include wife of 18 years, Shirley Jean Broadway of Albemarle; his son, Donald Broadway; his daughter, Kristen Griffin; his stepsons, Brent Carroll and Greg Carroll; grandchildren, Waylon & Morgan; five step-grandchildren, and sister, Susan (Jim) Colosanti.
