William Feeney

William "Bill" James Feeney, age 77 of Mecklenburg County, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, surrounded by his family, at Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland on Tuesday, July 05, 2011 from 6pm until 7pm. A memorial service will be held at 7pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland with Masonic honors. Mr. Feeney was born in Upper Darby, PA on March 27, 1934, to the late William James McKay II and the late Mary Catherine Goebner McKay. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Feeney. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Mead Feeney of the home; daughter, Kathianne Walden and husband Butch of Midland; sons, Tim Feeney and wife April of Harrisburg, David Feeney and wife Laurie of Harrisburg, Michael Feeney and wife Laura of Seattle, Washington; brother, David Feeney of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Feeney was a computer engineer with Unisys and was a member of the Eastgate 692 Masonic Lodge and the Shriner’s Organization. Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, 950 W.
