William Howard Hammond, 61 years of age, of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
Bill was born July 8, 1954 in Gowanda, New York to the late Howard Henry Hammond and the late Margaret Florence Ross Hewitt.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, February 5, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Deborah Carol Griffith Hammond of Harrisburg; daughter, Katie Hammond of Concord; brothers, Ken Hammond and wife Mindy of Clayton, Doug Hammond of Clayton; sister, Kathy Poland of Bradford, PA; stepmother, Sharon Hammond of Syracuse, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
