William Hargett

Mr. William Wade Hargett, 93, of 1620 Penninger Road, Concord, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at CMC-NorthEast. He was born October 31, 1916 in Davie County to the late Geoffrey and Annie Pearson Hargett. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord on Monday, June 21, 2010 from 2:30 until 3:45. Funeral service will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home, chapel on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 4:00 with Rev. William Nix officiating. Internment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis. He served his country in the US Army. He was the owner of Hargett’s Garage. He was a past member of Moose Lodge and DAV Chapter 27. He is survived by: wife, Emma Mason Hargett, of the home; daughter, Diane H. Furr and husband, Butch, of Concord; brothers, Evans Hargett, and Gene Hargett, both of Concord; sisters, Claudine Sergent, of Cheraw, SC and Mabel Talbert, of Concord; grandchildren, Anita Hartsell and husband, Tim, Teresa Honeycutt and husband, Tony, and Dennis Furr and wife, Sonya; great grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor honeycutt, David Furr, Aaron and Elizabeth Hartsell; and a number of neices, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Hartsell Funeral Home Concord is serving the Hargett family.
