William Hartsell

William Franklin “Bud” Hartsell, age 70 of 558 Big Lick Road, Stanfield, passed away on September 14, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast in Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland on Thursday, from 7 to 9. At other times the family will be at his home. Funeral service will be at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Midland Chapel on Friday at 2:00 PM. Rev. Donald Lisk will officiate and burial will be at Clark’s Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. He was a printer for Coy Almond in Locust and worked for Cannon Mills for 30 years. Born in Stanly County on July 30, 1940, he is the son of the late Herman Lee Hartsell and the late Gladys Mae Lee Hartsell. He is also preceded in death by a son, Roger William Hartsell. He is survived by his wife, Donnie Rebecca Hartsell of the home; daughter’s Jeannine Hill of Mint Hill, Anita Mullis of Monroe and Sandra Allen of Concord; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
