William James Heavner, 53, of Concord, NC died Saturday, October 27, 2018 in a tree clearing accident. He was born on March 12, 1965 in Charlotte, NC to the late Jeanne Victoria Calhoun and Edward James Heavner.

Bill enjoyed all outdoor activities, but especially deer hunting. He looked forward to the start of each season and always made sure his deer stands were ready to go. He also enjoyed bird hunting and had been an excellent golfer in past years. One of his favorite passions was riding offroad motorcycles with his sons, as well as his Dad, nephews and friends. This was a true family sport. He also enjoyed woodworking with his wife and sons.

Bill had a long career in the plastics industry and was Production Manager for Locust Plastics in Salisbury. He was responsible for the manufacturing of all injection molded parts and led the employees in that division. He was loved and respected by everyone that worked for him. He truly loved his company and worked tirelessly to insure its ongoing success.

He was a friend to everyone and was always willing to help in any way possible. He was always enthusiastic about any project in which he was involved and loved talking about them.

The love for his family was his true passion. Bill gave his family unconditional love, support and a neverending loyalty regardless of the circumstances. He will always be with us.
