William Hughes

William "Will" Charles Hughes, 20 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. "Will" was born April 10, 1993 in Mecklenburg County to Douglas Charles Hughes and Martha Alice England Hughes. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dina England and maternal grandfather, Charles England; and uncle, Jim England. A Celebration of Life Service officiated by Rev. John Futterer will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the First Lutheran Church, 230 South Second Street, Albemarle, NC 28001. The family will receive friends following the service in the church gym. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Stuart Hughes of Charlotte; paternal grandparents, Charles and Peggy Hughes of Albemarle; uncles, Phillip England of Charlotte and Gary Hughes of New Jersey; and aunt, Kim Hughes Crawford and husband, Ronnie of Pittsboro. A graduate of Albemarle High School in 2011 and received his Electrical Lineman Certification from Stanly Community College in May 2013. He was employed by PIKE Electric in Huntersville, NC.
