William Curtis Hyatt, Sr., 72 years of age, of Polkton, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home.
William was born April 19, 1943 in Alabama to the late LeRoy Hyatt and the late Pernie Vilois Hyatt.
He was also preceded in death by a son, James Hyatt; and a brother, Arnold Hyatt.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, and will be officiated by Rev. Chuck Hensley, and Rev. Bobby Mowrey. Burial will follow at the Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe.
Survivors include wife of 47 years, Carolyn Sue Hyatt of Polkton; son, William Curtis (Shane) Hyatt, Jr. of Albemarle; daughter, Lydia (Garry) Herring of Birmingham, AL; sister, Brenda (Tom) Kean of Cullman, AL; brother, Ronnie Hyatt of Joppa, AL; brother, Danny (Jeannie) Hyatt of Ballground, GA; brother, Gary (Debbie) Hyatt of Decatur, AL; Sister-in-law, Ann Hyatt of Arab, AL; four grandchildren, Hope and James Hyatt, and Daniel and Russell Herring.
