William Jeffrey Morris, 58, of Harrisburg, NC went home to meet Jesus on Friday, November 24, 2023 at his residence in Harrisburg, NC after living 6 years with Alzheimer's disease.
Jeff was a native of Charlotte, NC and was born at Presbyterian Hospital on February 11, 1965. He was also preceded in death by his parents John and Ann Morris, brother Wayne Morris.
To cherish his memory is his beloved wife and caregiver, Trina Morris, son, Michael Morris of Harrisburg, daughter, Christine Morris of Wilmington, NC.
As a child, Jeff was a member of Whiting Avenue Baptist Church and accepted Jesus as his savior at the age of 14. He later attended Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Main Campus, where he met his wife Trina and they were married in the chapel in 1993. Jeff was currently a member of Pitts Baptist Church for 15 years where he served as a Deacon, choir member, Boy's Sunday School teacher, and also volunteered with VBS, youth lock ins and packing Operation Christmas Child boxes.
He also was a member of the Harrisburg YMCA for over 10 years and loved exercising there. He also loved studying the bible, playing the drums and riding his John Deere mower and spending time with his wife and kids. The special family trips included Ocean Isle Beach NC, Blowing Rock, NC, Grandfather Mountain, NC and Gatlinburg TN.
Jeff was a beagle lover and always gave his pets the best care, although he had an inherited fish tank, that didn't last long. Jeff earned a degree in Architectural Technology and worked as a Structural Designer doing AutoCad projects for Duke Power, Dominion Energy, including nuclear power plants and power stations. He enjoyed his work, his employers were Laurene & Rickher, Fluor and Zachary Engineering.
