Mr. William David "Dub" Keziah, Sr., age 80, of 9916 Machado Drive in Indian Trail, passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, March 7, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on April 2, 1930 in Union County to the late Joe Monroe, Sr. and Gladys Merle Martin Keziah. He is preceded in death by his son, William David Keziah, Jr. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Monroe Keziah, Jr., Samuel Hargrove Keziah, Brice Pearson Keziah, and Joseph Gilmer Keziah. Mr. Keziah attended Christ Baptist Church and was a retired machinist from Huntley Industries in Monroe. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland from 1:00 until 2:00 PM with the funeral service following in the chapel at 2:00 PM. Rev. Donald Lisk and Rev. Stephen Hicks will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Charlotte. The family will also meet with friends and family at the home. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Phyllis Ann Mullis Keziah, of the home; daughter, Sylvia Ann Keziah and husband, Jim Flowe, of Indian Trail; brothers, Irwin and Dewey Keziah, of Monroe; and sister, Thelma Arnold, of Raleigh.
