William Kidd

Mr. William Russell "Rusty" Kidd 45 of Atwater, Ohio formerly of Concord, NC passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Akron General Medical Center. Born in Mecklenburg County on May 4, 1964. He was a graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School, and was employed by Wal-Mart in Talmadge, Ohio as a department manager. Mr. Kidd was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Margaret Gore, and Russell Kidd; and also a brother Charles Wood. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Wednesday November 18, 2009 from 6 PM until 8 PM. The son of Bill and Lorraine Kidd of Concord, NC and Boyd and Nancy Wood of Mt. Pleasant, SC; also survived by his wife, Susan E. Kidd of Atwater, Ohio; son, Christian Dakota Kidd of Millingport, NC; daughters, Michelle Rose Walker, and Rebecca Anne Walker both of the home; sisters, Robin Byron of Isle of Palms, SC; and Tracy Paladino of Greenville, SC; brothers, Tripp Scharling; and David Wood both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandmother, Sara Kidd of Concord, NC. Loving nieces and nephews also survive as well as an aunt, Dianne Kidd Weaver of Concord.
