William Longstreet

Mr. William Frank Longstreet, 78, of, 918 Bostwood Lane, Concord, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at CMC NorthEast. He was born on February 16, 1932 in Ithaca, NY to the late Louis Nelson Longstreet and the late Margaret Lucille Miller Elia. Mr. Longstreet is also preceded in death by his wife, Chloe Irene Sharpe Longstreet, who passed away on October 18, 2010. He was a Seventh Day Adventist and a retired truck driver from Pioneer Logistics. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2:00 pm with Elder Melvin Brannon and Elder Marvin Mosher officiating. A visitation will follow at Concord Seventh Day Adventist. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home. He is survived by his son, Stephen Longstreet, of Concord; daughters, Amanda Bosworth, of Rocky Point and Robin Griffin, of Mint Hill; sisters, Jane Brainard, of Newfield, NY and Elsy Frazier, of Leesburg, FL; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
