William Mason

William "Bill" L. Mason, 86 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.
Mr. Mason was born February 20, 1929 in Stanly County to the late William Lloyd Mason, Sr and Jessie Sinclair . He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lois Tucker Mason, and a son, William Bryan Mason.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM, Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle . A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 E. Main Street, Albemarle officiated by Rev. Keith Allen.
Survivors include daughter, Joyce Murphy of Albemarle, granddaughters Sharon Crayton and husband Jason of Stanfield and Casey Helms and husband Derrick of Monroe, grandson, Luke Murphy of Albemarle, and great grandchildren, Michael and Makayla Crayton.
