William Glenn Pearson, Jr, 35 years of age, of Concord, passed away March 5, 2016.
Mr. Pearson was born October 1, 1980 in Cabarrus County to William Glenn Pearson, Sr. and Cathy Miller Pearson. He was preceded in death by grandmother, Sallie Pearson.
Will grew up attending First Baptist Church of Concord, and was an eagle scout with the church’s scout troop, Troop 600. He attended Concord High School and graduated from Rowan Cabarrus Community College with a degree in computer network engineering and achieved numerous certifications.
He was employed with Duke Energy as a Network Engineer.
Will loved to travel. He explored Europe and all over the United States, but his favorite destination was Myrtle Beach. His favorite holiday was Christmas. He went all out with decorations and holiday festivities.
He was a wonderful brother and son, and such a wonderful dad to Bailey. He loved being with her on the weekends, taking her places and doing activities with her.
Survivors include his parents, Cathy and William Glenn Pearson, Sr; his sisters, Angela Pearson and Jessica Accornero; his daughter, Bailey Grace Pearson; grandparents, Raymond and Ruby Miller of Albemarle; aunts, Sharon Beach and Janet Maywald; uncles, Robin Pearson, Frank Miller, and Brent Miller; and his very good friend, Donna Scott.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 11, 2016 from 2-3pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, with the service to follow at 3pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at a later date at Hillside Cemetery in Laurinburg, NC.
Donations can be made to the Humane Society of Cabarrus County.
