William Ross, Sr

Mr. William Carroll Ross, Sr. 69 of 4104 Kenton Glenn Court, Concord passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Born on March 6, 1940 in Warren County, Kentucky to the late Norbert Lee Ross and the late Margaret Smith Ross Craddock. Mr. Ross was a Medical Technologist for the former Cabarrus Memorial Hospital now NorthEast Medical Center in Concord. He was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church in Concord, and was involved in the Handprints Ministry. The family meeting place will be at the home 4104 Kenton Glenn Court, Concord. A visitation will be held at Parkwood Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 from 12 Noon until 1:30 PM. Services will follow at the church at 2 PM, with the Rev. Bo Sherrill officiating. There will be an interpreter for the deaf provided for the service. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Survived by: sons, Fredrick Lee Ross and wife Bonnie of Grimesland, NC, and William Carroll Ross, Jr. and wife Lea of Clayton, NC; daughters, Trecia Shearin and husband Raymond, Sr. of Concord, and Janita Linker and husband David of Concord; grandchildren, Micheal, Jeremy, Madison, and Peyton Linker, Kyler, and Quinton Ross, Jordan, William Michael, and Wylson Ross, Cameron Ross, and Raymond Shearin, Jr.; great-grandchild, Cheyenne Ross. The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County for their loving care and support during this time, and also a special thank you to Dr. Douglas Kelling and his staff.
