William Shelton

William Randall Shelton, 53 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Salisbury.

Randall was born November 26, 1960 in Forsyth County to the late William Akers Shelton and Margaret Imogene Silverthorne. He was also preceded in death in 2010 by his son, William Spencer Shelton.

Randall was a member of the Badin Masonic Lodge and West Stanly Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Jerry Goode will be at 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 16, 2014 in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle. Burial will be Monday, March 17, 2014 at Faith of God Ministries Cemetery in Walkertown, NC.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sheila Gail Shelton of Albemarle; step father, Robert Silverthorne; daughter in law, Shannon Shelton of Panama City, FL; grandson, Weston Shelton; sisters, Margaret Pendleton of Rocky Mount, Nancy Shelton of Walkertown and Cherylene Pierce of Walnut Cove.
