William Stanley

Mr. William "Edd" Stanley, beloved Daddy and loving husband, 64 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at his home in Stanfield.

Edd was born February 6, 1951 in Tennessee to the late Nolan Stanley and the late Cora Ellen Stanley. He was also preceded in death by three brothers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 3:00 pm at Center Grove United Methodist Church in Midland and will be officiated by Rev. Alan Thompson. Burial will follow at the Love's Chapel UMC Cemetery at 808 South Love Chapel Rd., Stanfield.

Survivors include wife, Mavis Stanley of Stanfield; eight daughters, Kim (James) Widenhouse of Midland, Jolena (Jason) Harwood of Mt Pleasant, Shellie (Paul) Fields of Stanfield, Shauna Stanley of Stanfield, Gerri Stanley of Stanfield, daughters, Caitlin, Katherine, and Aubrey all of the home; three brothers; seven sisters; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
