William Stewart

William Baxter Stewart 78 of Charlotte, NC passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Charlotte. Mr. Stewart was born in Cabarrus County on March 31, 1931 to the late Joseph Stewart and the late Bonnie (Furr) Stewart. Also preceded in death by his wife, Betty (McDaniel) Stewart. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 2 PM at Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Kannapolis with the Rev. Ed Grover officiating. Interment will follow in the mausoleum. He was a supervisor. Survivors include son, Joseph Stewart of Charlotte, NC; son, James Stewart of Nashville, TN; son, John Stewart of Charlotte, NC; sister, Betty Overcash of Concord, NC; In Lieu of flowers: Memorials may be made to Community Home Care Hospice of Mecklenburg County.
