William Tipton

William Lloyd Tipton, 73, of Gold Hill, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle.

Buddy was born October 1, 1948 in Stanly County to the late Lloyd Rabie Tipton and the late Lillie Mae Tipton. He was also preceded in death by three brothers.

Buddy served in the U.S.Army during Vietnam and was proud of his service.

Survivors include sons, William (Cynthia) Tipton of Richfield and Jason Lane Tipton of New London; and grandsons, Dylan Gage Tipton and Joseph Damian Tipton.
