William Vanhoy

William "Bill" Archie Vanhoy, 56 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System - Main in Charlotte.

Mr. Vanhoy was born October 29, 1959 in Rowan County to Claude Archie Vanhoy and Gail Leonard Vanhoy.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 p.m. , Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Love's Chapel United Methodist Church, 808 South Love Chapel Road, Stanfield officiated by Rev. Eugene Moore. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include wife, Vinita Kay Vanhoy of Stanfield; parents, Archie and Gail Vanhoy of Gold Hill; sister, Libby Shaver and husband, Robert of Hickory; aunt, Barbara Leonard of Rockwell; niece, McKenna Shaver and nephew, Eric Shaver.
