Willie Mae Loflin Russell, 76, of New London, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Mrs. Russell was born December 22, 1944 to the late Dolan Dewitt and Mae Forrest Loflin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry McCoy Morgan and second husband, Ernest Eugene Russell, Sr.

Willie retired from First Citizens Bank in Albemarle.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 3:45 pm, on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at First Baptist Church of New London. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm, officiated by Pastor, Brandon King. Burial will conclude at the New London Cemetery, 331 Spring Street, New London.

Survivors include: daughters, Lynn (Randy) Little of Albemarle, Dana (Scott) Minderlein of Concord; grandson, Zachary Little;  granddogs, Amos and Willow Minderlein.
