Willie Simpson

Willie Mae Simpson, 87 years of age, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 at her home.

Willie was born June 15, 1927 in Monroe to the late Arthur Delosher Greene and the late Asbury Emmaline Greene. She was also preceded in death by husband, Jim Franklin Simpson, and six brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Antioch Baptist Church in Monroe. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the church sanctuary officiated by Rev. Joe Query. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Kay Pressley and Kathy Gail Simpson; one sister, Frances Kiker; two grandchildren, Faith Pressley and Kyle (Amber) Pressley; and three great-grandchildren, Hunter and Collin Smith, and Will Pressley. All of the family resides in Monroe.
