Willie Williams

Willie Edith Williams, 95 years of age, of Locust, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at home. She was born July 28, 1918 in Union County to the late William Helms and the late Dessie Helms. She was also preceded in death by husband, Archie Rafe Williams, and son, Archable "Ray" Raphael Williams. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday, January 10, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 11:00 am at Indian Hill Presbyterian Church in Stanfield preceded by a 30 minute state. It will be officiated by Rev. Rick Brundin. Burial will follow at the Indian Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery at 8349 NC Hwy 200, Stanfield. Survivors include daughter, Willie Rose Williams of Locust, NC; grandson, Rodney Alan (Stephanie) Williams of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter-in-law, Judy Greene Williams of Locust, NC; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Williams of N. Myrtle Beach, SC.
