Willie Mae Glosson

Willie Mae "Bill" Glosson (Granny), 101, of Midland, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at Clear Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Mint Hill.

Mrs. Glosson was born June 13, 1917 in Mecklenburg County to the late James Edward Brafford and the late Florence Williams Brafford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edd Kerr Glosson; sisters, Grace Hough, Madge Long Phillips, Thelma Morrison; and brother, Joe B. Brafford.

Bill retired from Kayser-Roth, Concord. She was a member of Dulin's Grove Advent Christian Church. She was a wonderful Christian wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family, friends and church. She was known for her witty sense of humor.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM - 2:00PM, Monday, December 3, 2018, Dulin's Grove Advent Christian Church at 11200 Arlington Church Rd, Charlotte. The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary at 2:00PM officiated by Rev. Matt Broadway. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include sons, Ted Glosson (Becky) and Edd Glosson (Ann); daughter, Linda Perault (Bill); 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dulin's Grove Advent Christian Church, 11200 Arlington Church Road, Charlotte, NC 28227.
