Wilma Parker

Wilma Jean Parker, 71, of Concord, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at  home.
She  was born May 27, 1947 in Louisville KY,  to the late Walter Lee Cloyd and Mary P. Mattingsly Cloyd
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David, and sister, Leona Kendall.

Wilma moved here from Louisville, Ky in 1982 to start her career and retired with Philip Morris.  She loved being with family, especially with her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8, Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral service will be on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 1pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Concord officiated by Pastor Carrie Bishop. Burial will follow in the Mt Herman Lutheran Church cemetery.

Survivors include daughter, Tara Garrett of Concord, and husband David; son Tim Parker of Concord; grandchildren; Spencer, Katelyn , Kinsey and Patrick Garrett, and Jared and Bailey Parker.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  All who knew Wilma loved her.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County.
