Winifred Mason

Winifred Davis Mason, 79, of Charlotte, NC passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte.

Winifred was born September 13, 1941 in Cleveland, OH to the late Charlie Davis and the late Cresie Morton Davis.  She was the youngest of twelve children. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband just three months ago.

In 1955 at the age of 15 she met Arthur Edward Mason.  They fell in love and was married for 62 years. In this union, five children were born and adopted son (Eric)

Winifred enjoyed dancing, playing cards, going fishing with Arthur and watching cartoons.  She loved spending time with all her children and all the grandchildren.

Winifred Mason leaves to mourn 4 daughters: Veronica McCrary (Paul), Jaqueline Nalls (William), Aliece Wright (Neal), April Mason; sons: the late Arthur Edward Mason Jr. (Sheryl), the late Eric Mason; sister: Shirley West of Cleveland, Ohio, a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be at 1:00PM on Saturday, November 28th at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg, 12115 University City Blvd., Harrisburg, NC 28075.  Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park in Harrisburg.
