Xai Vang

Xai Xiong Vang, 72, of Carthage, NC passed away on July 9, 2011 at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. The family will receive friends at 28338 Hatley Farm Road, Albemarle, NC 28001 starting at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 22, all day on Saturday, and until 12 PM on Sunday. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, July 24 at Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle, NC. Ms. Vang was born in Loom Khais(Pob Tsua), Laos, a small mountainous community located in the province of Luam Phab Bag, on April 7, 1939. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sia Shoua Vang. Ms. Vang is survived by her sons, Kao Vang of Concord, Choua Vang of Carthage, Chong Vang of Apex, Cher Vang of Harrisburg; and eight grandchildren. At other times the family will meet at the home of Kou Vang, 307 Vang Drive, Mt. Gilead, NC 27306.
