Yvonne W. Moore, age 98, of Concord, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at Brian Center, Concord.
Yvonne was born September 22, 1918 in Concord to the late Richard and Arrie Walter. She was also preceded in death by husband, Raymond J. Moore; daughter, Alleia Yvonne Moore Bradshaw; and brother, Berman Walter.
Yvonne took a certain pride in her nursing profession but she really enjoyed baking and sewing. She was a fantastic seamstress.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Oakwood Cemetery, 461 Church St. N, Concord, with Rev. Steve Disher officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, 12:30 - 1:30 pm, at Hartsell Funeral Home, 460 Branchview Drive NE, Concord.
Survivors include son, Richard Moore; granddaughter, Erin (Chad) Cordell; great-grandson, Timothy Cordell; and nephews, Jimmy Walter and Owen Walter.
